A SIMILAR STORY TO
WINE AND WHISKY
For decades, wine and whiskey have shown they are both rare and robust assets with minimal correlation to equities and other traditional assets.
Now, it's time for Tequila and Mezcal to shine.
Wine and Whisky are long-established alternative assets. Tequila is following in their footsteps and collectors of those assets are now expanding into maturing Tequila barrels.
House of Rare solves the storage issue. You buy the barrels, and in return we store and age them on your behalf. After 3 years, you can either bottle your Tequila or we'll propose an exit strategy
and return any profits back to you.
QUALITY
ASSURANCE AND REGULATION
All spirits sold as Tequila are closely monitored by the CRT - one of the most respected entities in Mexico.
The Consejo Regulador de Tequila, to give its full name protects consumers by ensuring Tequila is produced to tightly regulated standards.
This includes making sure that all plants are grown within the vicinity of the town of Tequila itself, and all
processing from plant to bottle - including maturation - is also done within this area.
Similar to how Champagne is regulated in France) the regulations result not only in quality guarantees for consumers worldwide) but also creates a limit on supply.

Whisky has now firmly established itself as a long term, highly attractive collectible. Tequila shares many of whisky's characteristics as an asset, yet it has a shorter maturation period before reaching its prime. We are also earlier in the cycle which can make it a much more exciting spirit to add to your collection.
